Well-designed Classic wood stove - with beautiful curves

 

Comprising of 4 models, hearth-mounted, pedestal and wall-mounted, the 6100 wood stove is simple in design and timeless in style, featuring a serene ‘wholeness’ of clean lines, hidden hinges and functionality.

 

As with all Morsø wood stoves, the Morsø 6100 series is constructed using only the highest quality recycled cast iron, the best material for wood stove performance. Cast iron is robust and provides longevity and there are many design advantages of working in cast iron; it is a material that can be moulded into beautiful shapes such and rounded corners thus increasing decorative appeal.

 

The Morsø 6100 is tested and approved to meet some of the strictest environmental standards in the world, including the US EPA standard and the Norwegian standard NS 3058/59.

Innovative design elements give these original wood stoves a personal style and a soft organic touch, yet first-class craftsmanship and durable recycled cast iron makes them strong and intelligent.

Morsø 7948

Morsø 7948 lightly and elegantly raises the firebox, enclosed by the spectacular side and front panels. Alone in the 7900 series, the Morsø 7948 is available in both black and brown versions. Morsø has used the warm brown colour to give the cast iron a soft and living shade, which beautifully sets off the golden glow of the flames.

The Morsø 7644 is an elegant wood stove with round feminine contours and a spectacular view. Set upon graceful feet, this unique wood stove is ushering in a fresh new contemporary design.

 

Monica Ritterband described the motivation behind her 7644 design as, “The old stoves on lion feet really engaged my mind, and I wanted to create a modern product similar in character.”

 

Today performance is not just measured in terms of heat output, but also environmental impact. The modern non-catalytic combustion technology in the 7600 wood stove series ensures low emissions and high fuel efficiency. With an estimated output of 35,000 btu/hr the 7600 series can heat an area of up to 1200 sq ft.

Morsø 7900-serien series is light and elegant whatever combination of stove modules is chosen. This not least because we have used the small recessed plinth to visually raise the stove, so that the pure and solid cast iron is experienced as light and almost hovering.
